This ultimate fly fishing experience is offered to individuals that want to get away from the hectic pace of life. The adventure originates at the famous historical Darwin Ranch, a private ranch surrounded by the pristine Bridger-Teton National Forest and the Gros Ventre Wilderness. Departing the Darwin, you will be able to fish along stretches of the beautiful Upper Gros Ventre River, which holds feisty, wild Cutthroat and Brook Trout. Your gear is transported to a comfortable base camp located near the delightful Upper Falls where the Darwin staff will have a scrumptious supper waiting for you. Spend the following day fishing for hungry Brook and Cutthroat trout on beautiful alpine lakes or on the upper reaches of the Gros Ventre River. The next day, enjoy the stunning scenery and if you desire, fish selected sections of the Gros Ventre River as you head back to the Darwin Ranch.

This package designed for two (double occupancy) includes two nights lodging in Pinedale, Wyoming, three days of guided hiking and fishing and two nights at a very comfortable wilderness base camp (cots and sleeping bags provided). Meals include lunch and supper on day two, all meals at the base camp and lunch on day four.

Day 1: Arrive Pinedale. Lodging provided in Pinedale (Lodging at the Darwin Ranch can be arranged, subject to availability and at an additional cost.)

Day 2: Travel to Darwin and fish up the Gros Ventre River to base camp

Day 3: Fishing Activities - options: site seeing, and photography

Day 4: Fish to Darwin Ranch and return to Pinedale - lodging provided

Cost: $1,995 (two individuals, double occupancy) Tax, gratuity, equipment rental such as fishing gear, float tubes, etc are extra. A fifty-percent deposit is required to secure reservations. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. A 45-day cancellation notice is required for deposit refund less $100 non-refundable administration fee.

Trips available weekly, beginning July through mid-September. To ensure a quality experience, the group size on these journeys is limited to six. These popular treks are conducted during peak fishing season so we highly recommend you make reservations well in advance.
